Using a boxed angel food cake mix, prepare as directed mixing in 1/2 cup of finely chopped pecans just before pouring into the baking pan. Bake as directed and cool completely.
Transfer to a serving plate and cover cake with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and Maple Pecan Utoffeea bits.
Slice and serve immediately.
Easy Caramel Sauce Recipe
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 4 Tablespoons of butter
- ½ cups Half-and-half Or Cream (cream Will Make It Thicker)
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
- Pinch Of Salt
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-low to medium heat. Cook while whisking gently for 5 to 7 minutes, until thicker. Turn off heat. Serve warm or refrigerate until cold.
If sauce is thin, just continue cooking for a few more minutes.
